It’s pretty easy to forget that for just a few minor details the world would be a lot different — your old “butterfly flaps its wings” argument. Sure, some things like if Russia hadn’t joined the Allies in WWI have been beaten to death, but what about other things like if Lincoln hadn’t been shot or if the guy who invented sliced bread was eaten by a bear? Let’s imagine what the world could — but never will — be.
