I’ve recently added Google Hot Trends to my RSS reader, which is a fun way to get a grasp of what people in aggregate are interested in at any given point in time.
Most of the time it’s sports, politics, news items. But last night a sudden spike shows up for “neurosyphilis” rocketing it to #1 in the chart. Unlike the usual items on hot trends there were no blog posts or news items about this, just a sudden interested in neurosyphilis. Which is kind of frightening and weird.

It’s worse than we thought. Gangsta Grillz is #43 and climbing. Maybe it’s the brits finally opening their eyes to the world of dental work and getting a tad carried away – or maybe it’s the future. If that’s thh case, then I’ll take my rhinestone teeth with lasers.
