Today I went to one of my all-time favourite spots, Bons Off Broadway. It’s exactly as described here, saving me valuable seconds of having to describe it to you.
If only it was $2 beer day (aka Tuesday), then we could have had the megatraditional $5 breakfast-n-beer combo. As it was, $4.50 for breakfast-n-coffee ain’t half bad, considering it comes with two eggs, lots of sausage and hash browns and four half-slices of toast. I left a US dollar as a tip.
I need to find a place that is remotely as good as this in Seattle.

Not nearly as cheap and the service kind of sucks but have you tried Minnie’s, on 1st and Denny? It sounds a bit similar.
And of course there’s always Denny’s (the crapasstic national chain) but that always makes me feel sick. The one in Ballard (a few blocks from my place) serves beer, though, and their beer prices are pretty cheap by Seattle standards.

fluffy: thanks, I’ll totally check that Minnie’s out sometime soonish. Denny’s with beer has a good ring to it initially but in the end it’s still Denny’s and I’ll pass on that in favour of the old standby IHOP.
