Given my lack of expertise and poor memory of what you like, probably yes.
Worth netflixing for the show, in any case. The story is good and while they run somewhat roughshod over history, it is the most accurate representation of the culture ever to be on film.
aph: Sadly I can’t comment knowledgably on that subject — if you want to judge for yourself see http://www.hbo.com/rome/cast/ for better pictures than the one I took. However, I should say that this show is very much worth netflixing — it’s a genius work of art that combines epic melodrama of the Roman elite (Caesar, Brutus, etc) intertwined with the personal stories of two centurions. With remarkable historical accuracy and production values as well.
